The Acting Governor of Katsina State, Malam Faruk Lawal Jobe, today paid a condolence visit to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, following the passing of his beloved mother.
The Acting Governor, who led the delegation on behalf of Governor Dikko Umaru Radda, the government, and the people of Katsina State, described the loss as a painful one not only to the Yilwatda family, but also to the APC family and the nation at large.
In his message, Malam Faruk Jobe extolled the virtues of the late matriarch, noting that she raised children who continue to make remarkable contributions to the progress of society. He added that her legacy is evident in Professor Nentawe’s outstanding leadership and service to the country.
“The passing of a mother is always an irreparable loss. She was a guiding light and a pillar of strength to her family. May her memory remain a blessing, and may her legacy of love, faith, and resilience continue to inspire everyone who knew her. We pray that her children and loved ones find the strength and comfort to bear this heavy loss,” the Acting Governor prayed.
Responding on behalf of the family, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda expressed his deep appreciation to the Acting Governor and his delegation for standing by them at this difficult time. He prayed for God’s continued blessings upon Governor Dikko Umaru Radda, the Acting Governor, and the people of Katsina State.
The Acting Governor was accompanied on the visit by the Deputy Chief of Staff, Government House Katsina, Alhaji Mukhtar Aliyu Saulawa.
